Aerial Photography & Video Benefits
Today, we are constantly faced with new creative ways to get things done. We want to take advantage of the new tools we are given to help us in business, but we also have to get things done in a way that provides a safe environment to everyone. Drone technology is a great way to show off your property, and give it perspective that stands out from other properties in the market. With aerial photography and video for real estate you will discover the following:
Benefits:
- Shows an entire property or a large amount of land. This can be extremely useful in photographing empty lots as well.
- Works well for corner lots.
- Homes with aerial photos sell 68% faster than homes with standard photos.
- Aerial photos & video have a novelty factor due to it being a new technology that most people have not seen.
- Shows off an entire neighborhood and/or the distance to amenities.
- Displays the condition of the roof.
Aerial photography and video gives us the capability of giving a perspective of a property that is not achievable from the ground. With this in mind, we have to be conscious that they are not the solution for every listing. Properties with large amounts of trees can block the view of the drone camera and make it impossible for a good shot. It is also illegal to fly over major roadways, highways, and other areas where people gather or commute, so aerials are not the solution for every property. Furthermore, flying over large bodies of water is a risk because if the drone malfunctions in flight, the only place it can go is down.
